Bathroom Clogs: Why Liquid Drain Cleaner Isn’t the Answer

Most of the time, however, homeowners turn to the liquid drain cleaners you can pick up at pretty much any hardware or grocery store. The way these cleaners are marketed could easily lead you to believe that they’re the standard for approaching bathroom clogs, and drain clogs throughout the rest of your home.

Unfortunately though, as our professional New Port Richey, FL plumbers will tell you, this is just not the case. We do not use these chemical drain cleaners and we don’t encourage our customers too, either. In short, the reason why liquid drain cleaner isn’t the answer is because it’s not as effective as you think, it’s actually harmful to your plumbing, and it’s highly toxic and awful for the environment.
