The team at Ierna’s Heating & Cooling is pleased to present their First Annual Blood Drive, to be held on Friday, April 26, 2013, from 11 am to 4 pm at our place. We are working with an organization called Oneblood (formerly Florida Blood Bank), and they are in need of your help. In particular, they have requested type O and type A donors to please step forward as their supplies are running dangerously low. Donating blood is a wonderful, safe way to help people who are suffering. If you have never donated blood, then perhaps you are unaware of the importance of donation. Every year, it’s estimated that 4.5 million of our fellow Americans would die had they not received transfusions. Every day, about 32,000 pints of blood are used in hospitals and surgeries across America; and every three seconds someone needs blood.
