Air Knight Reme

Tod Wright installed two Air Knight REMEs for us Wednesday, one in each of our two energy efficient AC/heaters (total 2870 s.f. of coverage), and I wanted to share with you why that was such a good decision for us.

 

First, I'm familiar with air purifiers, ionics, etc., and have had a few.  None have done for the air in our house what these two units have done.  Most purifiers are noisy, limited to one room or several connecting rooms (blocked when you shut doors), and often are expensive for filter replacement.  Even though the two REMEs were a bit pricey when I first heard the cost, I quickly calculated the long-term value and it's a no-brainer for the great health benefits for the family.

 

Let me share a few benefits we've already seen in only 3 days:

 

1 - Fresher smelling air throughout the house (don't need to open windows/doors to air it out).

2 - I'm breathing better (have had trouble with allergies, pollen, etc. recently)

3 - Cooking smells go away quickly in kitchen and diningroom (like bacon for breakfast)

4 - I wiped dust off some black computer printers the day Tod installed the units, and there's no new dust.

5 - The air in our bedroom isn't stagnant and stale at night with the door shut like it used to be.

6 - We're running the fan all the time now and we don't get the blow surges like before, just consistent breathable air

 

Those are the benefits in just the first three days.  I'm expecting to not have all the pollen, dust, and germs floating in the air from now on, so I am looking forward to this new fresh breathing environment.  Someone sneezed yesterday and my first reaction was yuck, turn away, and my second was let the purifier take care of that and don't worry.  So it's already brought us some real peace of mind.

Ecstatic Bordering On Euphoric

 

I have always used Ierna's services since I moved to Tampa 3 years ago. I was very impressed and told the tech, that if ever I bought a new unit, it would be from Ierna's. Our outstanding sales guy was Todd Wright. He came out Monday and we made the deal. Tuesday morning, Nathan and Dallas came and installed the unit. They ran into some unexpected difficulties with the filter. I was sweating b...ullets that this was going to result in a hefty upcharge. But they checked with the service manager, and he said the problem would be solved for no additional charge. I had already aimed two 30" box fans at them set on high, and supplied tools they were missing like a pipe wrench and a PVC pipe cutter which expedited their work. My wife and I were so grateful, we loaded those two excellent installers up with homemade cookies, all the ice-cold A&W root beer, cherry-Pepsi, and cherry Dr. Pepper they could drink. They left here with a smile on their face, and looking for yet another place to urinate after all the drinks. "Ok....I confess, I don't personally know Charlene, but I just had to recommend her company. I suspect that her company culture is a reflection of the owners and as a small business person I know how important word of mouth is. Twice in the past 60 days I have had the need for A/C service. The first time was over Labor Day weekend when my parents called me to tell me that their A/C was out and had been all weekend. They had a service contract with another well known company, but they wouldn't honor it on a holiday. I had heard some good things about Ierna Air, so I called. They explained that it was a holiday to it would cost a little more, but they would be glad to have someone come out right away. Who knew right away was less than 25 minutes. The tech was great, he was there for five or ten minutes before he told me it was something relatively small and he would have it fixed in 10-15 minutes. No exaggeration, he was done in 10. Great service and the price wasn't crazy.

About 4 weeks after this experience, my own A/C went out. It was already cooling down outside, and frankly I was really worried it was going to be an expensive problem. I decided I would wait for a little while. After about a week or so and a warm afternoon, I called Ierna air, we made an appointment and the tech was right on time. Again, he had a good idea in seconds, and after a couple quick tests, he told me it was my lucky day and he could have it fixed in twenty minutes and it would be VERY inexpensive. I asked the tech if he wanted a hug. ;) He fixed it, did a thorough check up and gave me some advice on maintenance, and was done in a very short time. I am really pleased and would recommend Ierna Air to anyone that asks. Great Experience!

I had 2 of the nicest gentlemen 2 my home to install a new Bryant Heating & A/C unit. Their names were Justin and Chaz; they were so clean & pleasant. They answered all my questions & installed my new equipement a.s.a.p. I must also mention Tod, he was the salesman that came to my home to sell me the unit. He too was very professional & not at all forceful or pressuring me into purchasing from your company. Thank you all for making this a pleasent experience. I Made The Right Choice!

I just had my new unit put in today, what a difference!!!

Justin and Chaz came on today right on time and wasted no time getting to work. They were both very polite, professional and knowledgeable. They explained anything I had a question about and the pride in their work was evident from start to finish. The installation was much more thorough than my last unit. It runs way quieter, which is a plus for my daughter since her bedroom is right next to the outside unit.

I spoke to a few companies before I decided to choose Ierna's and I'm glad I did.

In June, I needed to replace my entire Bryant Air Conditioning System. I was a bit worried when two young men from your company showed up, so I questioned them thoroughly about their previous experience before I let them begin work. I was purposely aggressive in my questioning about experience, certification, etc. They had the right answers and maintained a professional demeanor throughout our conversations.

After they began their work, I paid close attention to what they were doing. The men seemed to have the expertise necessary and I left them alone except to offer water or ask a question. They did a thorough installation and cleaned the area upon finishing their work. My unit was only 7 years old but has given me problems since the beginning. My new system is working fine so far and is providing the cool air I was missing.

Please thank DEREK BRACKENS and JUSTIN MITCHELL for their hard work and dedication. I was very impressed with their professionalism and expertise. You Made My Family Healthier!

I wanted to take a minute to say thank you for taking care of the health of my family. Yes, you heard me right, the health of my family. I know on the outside one may think that you are in the “keeping people cool” business, but in my case you have helped make my family healthier!

 For awhile we knew that we needed to replace our central air conditioner. Like many people we were waiting until it broke before we took action. However, my daughter, my husband and myself started having really bad respiratory issues earlier this year. At first we shrugged it off to allergies and took some medicine. Then we noticed that we were fine during the day, but when we were home we all started coughing or feeling congested. Hmmm… that will make you think!

 After reading an article about how the filters in your house can actually affect your health we decided to give your company a call. All I can say is … WOW.

 After your team came and inspected our house they recommended in addition to replacing our main unit that we install the Air Knight purification system. This amazing system literally will clean all nasty particles out of the air that we breathe. When I saw that our government uses it to protect from terrorist attacks, I figured it must be able to protect us from pollen attacks too!

 We had your team come to our house to replace our old unit (which by this time was leaking and needed replacing) as well as install the Air Knight system. Your crew worked from morning until evening to make sure we were back up with air conditioning by the time we went to bed. They walked myself and my husband through the entire control system and showed me personally how to operate it (not just hand me a manual).

 This is not an exaggeration: Within 24 hours I noticed a drastic improvement in our family. My daughter was not coughing or congested at bedtime and my sinuses felt better as well.

 We have had the system in our house now since the beginning of June and I can not talk about it highly enough to do it justice. All I can say is if you have considered installing this system but hesitated because of cost, stop hesitating. Your family’s health is worth it! Besides … you will make back the money by not having to buy expensive allergy medicine!

 Thank you again to your entire team at Ierna’s for installing the new system in our house. I will recommend you over and over again to my friends and family.

They came out for an annual a/c checkup.  $29.95 with coupon.
Turns out a part was performing poorly, which he had in the truck, and replaced it.  That visit was late May.
Then on Memorial Day our air went out.  They came out the next morning and luckily it was also an inexpensive part.  But I was surprised he didn't find it.  They didn't charge me for a service call though...  Either b/c we get tune-ups each year or just had the come out the week before.
Either way I feel the price is decent, the company is organized, and the service techs are professional.

I had a new AC and heat pump unit installed. They installed a new 2 1/2 ton Bryant Preferred Heat Pump split system with a new R-410A (Puron). A programmable thermidistat was also included. The system came with a hurricane pad and the unit was securely bolted with hurricane clips. There is a 10 year warranty on parts and the compressor.

I am trying to correct all the defects in the heating and AC system as noted by the home inspector when I purchased the home. My niece had used this company to have her system replaced in 2/11. They were a local company and seemed to have a good track record. I called for an estimate and the company sent someone that day. They were able to install the system the following day as they had hired extra crews for summer work. They arrived at the planned time and completed the work in about 4 hours. They obtained the proper building permits and swapped out my air handler, which was defective and leaking.  The foreman was meticulous about the fine details of the work, such as making sure the compressor was finely tuned to the right pressure. They did a good job of removal of the old unit and air handler and cleaned up the site at the end of the job. One of the crew also helped me use his ladder to change the air filter. It had not been changed in a very long time. (I will have to purchase a ladder to accomplish this). They wrapped all the supply lines with insulative wrap. The lines are chrisp and sharp. They also had to replace a wooden pad at the bottom of the air handler that was damaged by the leaking of the old unit. I can't wait to see the savings on my electric bill next month. The thermostat works perfectly and I can notice an immediate impact on the effectiveness of the cooling in the home.
