IERNA's Heating & Cooling has become a drop off location for "Support Our Troops, Inc".

This organization collects the much needed items like snacks, deodorant, feminine hygiene

products, old DVD's, batteries and more from the generous folks here in Tampa Bay Area

and sends them to our troops over seas in Afganistan, Iraq, Kuwait and the Kyrgyz Republic.

Some American Troops are stationed in places where the nearest convenience store is at least

40 minutes away, and requires a combat convoy to just make the trip. Some troops are as far

as 1,200 miles away from a store.

It’s easy for us here in the States to fulfill our wants and needs even when we think, “I could sure

use a cup of coffee”, or “I just ran out of deodorant”. That is a great freedom that we have here,

but those fighting to protect our freedom do not enjoy this convenience, as you can imagine.

We understand that being in the armed forces requires sacrifice, but in sending some hospitality

from back home to those deployed, we can give much more than just a “thank you”.

We are asking for 1-Gallon Ziploc Bags filled with:

– Candy

– Snacks

– Crackers

– Cookies

– Pretzels

– Peanuts

– Notes

– DVD's (New or Used)

–CD's (New or Used)

– Batteries

Toiletry Items (Packaged Sepeartly from Food)

– Deodorant

– Razors

– Feminie Hygenie Products

– Shampoo

– Q-Tips

ALSO:

– School Supplies

– Small Toys

These are the types of items that our troops are requesting and cannot get with out our help.

Imagine being so far away from home and receiving a little care package with the items above.

It makes all the difference in the world to these Men and Women who sacrifice daily in desolate

areas so we can can have these same items at our own personal disposal with ease.
