A MOM AND POP SHOP CLIMBING TO THE TOP
Lutz, FL - IERNA's Heating & Cooling, a small town HVAC contractor located in downtown Lutz, FL has surpassed their numbers from the prior year, once again. For the seventh year in a row they have shown significant growth while many other businesses have struggled to make ends meet or worse close their doors.
This past March, IERNA's was honored at the annual Bryant awards dinner with nearly every award that could possibly be earned by a Bryant Factory Authorized Dealer including the title of " Top Florida Bryant Dealer ". In just under seven short years the company has grown to over 23 employees and is currently searching for 2 more qualified installation crews. IERNA’s still maintains the personal attention to customer service and customer satisfaction that has helped the company reach this point. The company has also earned the title of Central Pasco Chamber Business of the Year, Wesley Chapel Chamber Business of the Year and many other accolades to boot.
IERNA's Heating & Cooling has been able to acquire over 18,000 customers, employ 12 trucks and service an area that covers Hillsborough, Pasco, Northern Pinellas, and Western Polk counties. The company focuses on service and repair and utilizes a no pressure attitude when it comes to sales and estimates. "When a diagnosis is reached, we will give you your options and a flat rate cost of repair. If your system is old, inefficient and in disrepair, we will educate on the current high efficiency technology that is available and leave a competitive bid on replacing the system as well as the cost to repair it if possible", states Ron Ierna. "We feel if we educate our customers, give them options and let the customer make the decision that best fits their needs, then we have a customer for life. Whether they make a decision that day or 5 years down the road, we will be here ready to take their call and race out to their home when they need us."
Another unique component of IERNA's is their focus on community relations. The company has donated nearly $100,000 to local schools, youth athletic programs, non-profit organizations (American Cancer Society, Big Brothers - Big Sisters, Meals on Wheels, etc.) as well as the Lowry Park Zoo. A strong relationship has been built with the Company’s local communities through their grass roots marketing efforts. In 2008 the company put together a child safety event that hosted many local family friendly businesses and also paid to have the parent of each child attending the event receive a disk containing the child's digital photograph, digital fingerprints as well as a DNA Kit. This kit was given at no cost to the attending families. "This is something the company just loves to do", states Rob Kress, Director of Marketing and Public Relations for IERNA's. Ron and Charlene (owners of IERNA''s Heating & Cooling) have been committed to giving back to the community as much as they possibly can. From equipment donations, to money, to free services, IERNA's will continue to give back. “Not only is this great for our community, but we as employees feel great about working for a company who actually cares and makes a difference in the community where we raise our families."
